I remember Fiona Apple's 1996 song "Criminal" only vaguely. More precisely, I only remember the controversial, disturbing, post-Lolita-imaged music video for "Criminal." Despite this vaguest of recalls, I have heard good things about Extraordinary Machine. And so, yesterday I reserved Tidal and When the Pawn ... via the Toronto Public Library. Public libraries are nice institutions to have, especially when you want to experiment.
