At lunch today, I paid my VISA bill. And yes, now that I'm buying gifts for other people outisde of my immediate family and selected close relatively in my extended family, I too have noticed the dip. Though to be quite honest it's also because I spent too much on myself--Amazon and Amazon.ca books, among other things.

Note to self: Don't spend money like water until you become wealthy, through work or inheritance or dumb luck.
