rfmcdonaldWe caught the fourth-season finale "The Deconstruction of Falling Stars" tonight, and the fifth-season episodes "No Compromises", "The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari" and "The Paragon of Animals".
Why does Sheridan think it a good idea to listen to Garibaldi's advice and create the framework for a telepathic police state? Why does everyone completely neglect Lyta, the person who told Z'ha'dum to self-destruct?
This isn't bad plotting. Rather, it's very good plotting on JMS' part, proof that his characters aren't omnipotent or omniscient, that they are making terrible mistakes.
I have to like the style of the intervention against the Drazi, mind. With the Vorlons gone, they're now the fifth-ranking power. It's unsurprising that they managed to pick up the style of imperialism from their neighbours.
