[URBAN NOTE] A Nightclubbing Lesson
Mar. 15th, 2006 09:47 pmFiddler's Green (27 Wellesley Street E) and George's Play (504 Church Street) are rather different sorts of bars, especially late on a Tuesday night. How different? Two snatches of conversation I'd overheard last night, one at each bar, suffice.
- At Fiddler's Green, the attractive young bartender was talking to one of the middle-aged people standing at the bar "So you like younger women, that's cool."
- Outside George's Play, a drag queen standing just outside was cursing her half-dozen attendants. "Who threw that fucking cigarette into my hair?"
