Night Past

It went well enough. I met Steve and his boyfriend Corey at Mexico Lindo at 8 o'clock; it turned out that the event--some kind of post-baseball game get-together--wouldn't really begin until 9 o'clock at least, so we walked down to Café Diem for a few drinks. The time passed quickly, between the increasingly drunken (but entertaining and loquacious) conversation and meeting locals friends past and present.

Getting back down to Mexico Lindo at 10 o'clock, I found myself sharing this Island blogger's opinion about the food. The whole Pride event per se wasn't of particular note; I enjoyed the act of eating out enough to compensate.

When I head off for Kingston, should I stop off in Montréal to spend two or so days visiting that city, or should I head directly for Kingston? I'll be taking the train, so it shouldn't be too much trouble.
