[NON BLOG] Odyssey

Leaving home after appropriate preparation (one backup as carry-ons, two underpacked large pieces of luggage to return loot) at 3:30, taking the Queen Street West streetcar east to the Osgoode TTC, then north to the St. George TTC, then west to the Kipling TTC, then waiting 35 minutes for TTC bus #192 Airport Rocket which is supposed to arrive every twenty minutes in the cold before I break and go down to the taxi stand, then a twenty-five dollar taxi ride to Terminal 3 (21 for the ride, four for the Sikh driver), then entering the gate waiting area after the requisite security checks, then most unexpectedly meeting with a friend from Queen's who was herself waiting for a flight to her natal Atlantic Canada, then a mixed lunch from Baroli's and Tim Horton's, then boarding the plane an hour late, then the plane departing another hour late, then realizing that my seatmate was actually G. from junior high and high school and having a nice conversation with him, then arriving at the nice new Greater Moncton International Airport and meeting my parents and sister and getting my luggage just before an alarm was rung which brought the distribution mechanisms to a halt, then leaving the parking lot and driving at midnight and past midnight on deserted roads to East Royalty, then to eat, then to bed.

In other words, I'm back.
