On the 30th of August, I visited N.D.J. Books, located on 504 Yonge Street, subject of a generally positive u>2008 blogTO review, and set to close that day after a summer of signs on its windows advertising this imminent closure.
This photo is the original version of this one, fifth in the series of Spinnaker's Landing photos I posted yesterday and showing the full lagoon over which the Landing is built. The Loyalist Country Inn, my photograph of which was posted here Wednesday, is visible in the background.
I mentioned when I began my series of photo posts from Summerside that I was never in Prince Edward Island's second city for any length of time. In twenty-three years of life in the province, I just never spent any signifi-cant amount of time there. I just never bothered to spend the time necessary.
I do this kind of thing in my adult life, too. I would like to see, among other places, Hamilton again yet I have last been there three years ago.
