Yesterday, I went walking with my parents on the Bubbling Springs Trail. Located on the north shore of the Island, in the Prince Edward Island National Park near Stanhope, this trail 2.2 kilometres in length goes through an area of the park that had once been farmed until the 1930s, eventually becoming reforested. The signal marker of prior habitation is the Long Pond Cemetery, located near the trailhead.

The second set of photos from the Bubbling Springs Trail deals with the eastern portion of the trail, following the length of former barachois Long Pond and to the bubbling springs of the trail's name before heading back to the trail head.
