[FORUM] What do you do to yourself when you want to do something new to yourself?

I suspect that many of my readers have been at the point in their lives when they need to do something radically if superficially different with themselves, changing their appearance in or self-presentation in a fairly striking way. With many, as with me, the hair dye's a common tactic resorted to.

Does anyone else have suggestions, or experiences that they'd like to share with teh Interwebs?
