[PHOTO] Flying buttresses of Five

rfmcdonaldI've taken more than a few pictures of the construction site of Five Condos, a projected 45-story condominium tower located at Yonge and St. Joseph, just one block above Wellesley. The site is conveniently located and the scale is immense. I've one pair of photos posted of the site in September 2011 (1, 2) and another posted in September of this year (1, 2), as well as this background post.
From this particular angle, and this particular light, when I saw the brick facade cannibalized from the previous building propped up by steel girders, I recalled the flying buttresses of cathedrals.
