Angel episode 5.12 "You're Welcome" was a spectacular event in television, and not only because of the noble death of Cordelia Chase. That final scene was spectacular.

It's odd how I was recently thinking about Tasha Yar, from the first season of The Next Generation and a presence in subsequent episodes (most notably the excellent "Yesterday's Enterprise").

Well, they'll be missed. At least they got the sendoffs they deserved.
