As a North American, I missed out on Kylie Minogue's 1988 "Je ne sais pourquoi:. I do wonder why, uniquely in this continent, Minogue never managed to sustain the momentum that she got from her "Locomotion" cover. Was Stock Aitken Waterman too foreign, too British, too European, too something for their biggest hit to make it here?

I forget how I came across this song. YouTube, certainly, perhaps following links from somewhere? I like it. Full of a melancholy cheer, with just enough French to appeal to my Francophilia, it still works as a nice little pop song about the perils of love. SAW was big for a reason.
