I was a bit disappointed last night by Nuit Blanche. There did not seem to be, past midnight at least, the same grounds that I remembered from previous incarnations. As I walked west along Queen, more or less, from Yonge to Dufferin, I also did not see many of the sorts of standout works I'd remembered.
Many of the photogenic sights that I did see, and photograph, were quotidian scenes of Toronto late at night. I'm fond of this line of illuminated trees in the darkness at Trinity Bellwoods Park.
