Take the quiz: "Which Random Irish Gaelic Phrase Are You? "

Ta mo bhriste tri thine
Ta mo bhriste tri thine - 'My trousers are on fire.'You're a few bricks short of a load, aren't you? You're probably not allowed to use sharp objects and you should be locked in a rubber room. With Rubber rats. Rubber rats? I hate rubber rats. They drive me crazy. Crazy? I was crazy once. They put me in a rubber room. With rubber rats. Rubber rats? I hate rubber rats...

I wish people composing quizzes wouldn't make silly mistakes. For instance, the writer identifies "Galatia, on the border between France and Spain" as a Celtic nation.

  • Firstly, he has the name wrong: It's Galicia, a nation of two million with a tradition of mass emigration and a language akin to Portuguese but with many Celtic traditions.

  • Secondly, he's confusing Galicia, which is located in the northwesternmost corner of Spain, with the Basque Country, which is mostly located in the north-centre of Spain but which includes traditional Basque territories in southwestern France (BĂ©arn, Biarritz, and area).

Does anyone know how to correct the quiz writer? I feel sorry for the poor person.

On the other hand, the quiz got me right. Keep those rats away from me ...
