Okay, I hadn't seen that and I don't think that parses for me. I had been following the fans who are upset because an important Jewish character has once again been cast with a non-Jewish actor—and by a network which made such a big deal of reflecting representation in casting on the other major axis of the character's identity—which makes significantly more sense to me.
