[BRIEF NOTE] Rick Bébout

Picking up the latest issue of eye, I was surprised to see the name of Rick Bébout featured above the folk. When I looked inside I was pleased to find that Dave Morris' article "Opening Doors" did, in fact, deal with Toronto GLBT journalist and historian Rick Bébout. Bébout has put a vast amount of content onto the web, including his Promiscuous Affections, an online book some 340 thousand words long that ingenously combines three decades of Bébout's biography with the social history of Toronto's GLBT community. I'm definitely a fan, though sadly, I waited until tonight to mention it to him.
