[URBAN NOTE] The Heat, the Rain, and the TTC

I was pleased to find, when I left work, that it was raining. It might be difficult to lower the temperatures, but surely, if the humidity fell sharply enough, the effective temperatures would drop?

They haven't dropped much, yet. What's worse, the heavy rain caused massive delays and overcrowding on the westbound streetcars on Queen Street West. I was only able to board one at Shaw Street, i.e. three-quarters of the way home.

Oh well. At least I got a half-hour's walk out of this.
