I tend not to linger at ABC Books on 662 Yonge Street, since it's a cramped and dirty used bookstore, the sort of place that hasn't been made anew since the 1980s. Its sole redeeming feature are its $1C bargain bins. After I foolishly passed up a trade paperback edition of Neal Ascherson's 1981 The Polish August, I resolved to take full note of these bins in the future. I did so today, and what finds! More later.
