[BRIEF NOTE] Gulags are poisonous

Doug Merrill at A Fistful of Euros reports that the American gulag system is infecting at least two post-Communist countries. I only hope that the upcoming revelation of renewed police-state practices, inflicted by the American government upon its newest allies, will change something. As a non-American I can't directly influence the course of events in the United States. I only hope that my counterparts elsewhere will be able to change things in their own countries.
