Winter in Toronto is here, with dirtied snow lining the major streets, half-crushed ice removed from the side streets only by the tired men and women who were up early to scatter salt on the sidewalks in front of their houses. The most interesting thing right now, that I see as I look out the window of the Internet café on Yonge where I am, is the fading light of late afternoon, casting blues about. Shades of Jarman?
