[NON BLOG] Three personal changes
Dec. 22nd, 2005 05:40 pm1. Those of you who saw my Canadian Thanksgiving photo might, or might not, be surprised to learn that I experimented with growing a full beard. I shaved it off yesterday morning before work, all of it. The thing about beards that isn't immediately obvious, see, is their three-dimensionality.
2. After too long, my old tattered comfortable shoulder bag has had its clip fixed, at a convenient small shoe repair shop at the Eaton Centre on the first level below the street, hard by the entry to the Queen TTC station. Shoulders are meant to bear loads.
3. Looking in a washroom mirror this afternoon, checking my sideburns, I was started to come across one two three more white hairs, all as transparent as strands of fibre-optic cable but none as incongruous as I'd like them to be. These things aren't supposed to be here.
