[BRIEF NOTE] On Stargate SG-1

Before Rent, J. and I caught some Stargate SG-1 episodes from Season One, "The Enemy Within" and and "Emancipation". (We'd already jointly watched the two-parter "Children of the Gods" (1, 2).) I like the show, but I have to agree with Andrew's observation that there really isn't much attention paid to the consequences of the interventions. "Emancipation"'s havoc wrought on that world's gender relations comes particularly to mind. Doubtless there's other examples.
