[URBAN NOTE] New Generation Sushi

After suffering a fire last December that gutted its interior several months ago, New Generation Sushi (493 Bloor Street West) is now open for business again at the same location. Following our traditional Brownian-motion migration routes, we participants in CFTAG ended up there and were impressed as much by the new clean open wood-panelled decor as much as by the prices ($C5.99 for any one of sixteen lunch dishes). The only thing vaguely disturbing was the speed with which our server whisked away our bill and our money, before we could properly tip her. I just hope that she got the toonie we left on our table.
