I've finally done it: After much too much time spent temporizing and panicking, I've sent out customized E-mails to 20 professors at my six different candidate graduate schools, expressing my general interest in taking up graduate studies at those schools and my particular interest in becoming a graduate student under their supervision, with offers of further personal documentation to come.

Now, for the applications, and for the completion of the Honours essay, and God knows what else.

A passing thought: I wonder what it would be like to feel so pressured that you'd vomit. I think I'm not too far removed from that point now.
