robertprior who invited me to a recent concert by the duo Silk Road Music, held at the University of Toronto's Hart House as part of an ongoing series of concerts last Thursday. For an hour and a half, I was impressed by the easy virtuosity displayed by pipa player Qiu Xia He and multinstrumentalist André Thibault as they performed their melodic East/West fusion songs. I'll have to catch them again when they return to Toronto for performances in the April/May timeframe.
