Here's some more photos--the last ones, actually--taken in High Park while the cherry blossoms bloomed on that wonderful Victoria Day.



This piece of a tree, likely cut down by park authorities because it has been weakened during the winter, was lying by the side of the path.



Looking west down the slope, past the trees, a plaza with a mosaic of Canada's signature maple leaf is visible.



Real tulips below, metal sunflower above.



Is the pigeon as unpopular elsewhere as it is here?



This worn tree is among the most beautiful trees I've ever seen.
