[PHOTO] Looking up at College Park

The website for the Aura mixed-used skyscraper--still under construction, and photographed looking up from its southeastern corner at Yonge and Gerrard--is collegeparkcondos.com. This isn't a mistake, but rather, part of the marketing of its location just south of the prestigious College Park complex and its location on the city block known after said building.

[CAT] Maneki Neko at the Linux Caffe

I spied this charming beckoning Maneki Neko at the Linux Caffe at Harbord and Grace this morning. It demanded photography.



The maneki neko of this photo is visible at upper right, across from the Linux Caffe's Grace Street windows.

[URBAN NOTE] On Toronto's Snowmageddon last night

Much was predicted. The word "Snowmageddon" was being tossed around liberally on the radio by the meterologists.



Liquid snow came before and after, and dominated the day overall.

It has been a disappointing winter.
