I've a post up at Demography Matters that takes note of the fact that Estonia seems to be the first post-Soviet republic in Europe to be experiencing natural population growth (an excess of births over deaths). I go on to point out that this is largely a consequence of trends among ethnic Estonians, that Russophones are different, and wonder what the future might hold.
