[FORUM] How do you deal with language's lack of traction in the world?

You may have noticed that, recently, I have not been posting much. Why? I give up: if people use language with the realistic hope only of speaking to their fellow converts in their established circles, while my hubristic goal has been to change things more than that, faced with the reality that this the past eight years has been pointless ego-stroking should I not find some dignity and just stop this all? Discuss.
