The Downsview TTC station is the northern terminus of the western branch, the Spadina line, of the north/south-oriented Yonge-University-Spadina subway line. Downsview connects to points beyond Toronto, with construction soon to begin on a northwards extension that would extend the subway into suburban York Region and bus routes which extend into the same territory.

The architecture of the Downsview bus station, where TTC and Viva buses leave regularly for points in northern Toronto and York Region, is wonderfully cathedral.
