The Galleria Shopping Centre, located on the southwest corner of Dupont and Dufferin on the westernmost fringes of downtown Toronto, was described by blogTO last May as a Toronto mall desperately in need of a makeover. That's a bit unfair, since, as the reviews at Yelp point out, the Galleria serves its job perfectly fine as a neighbourhood shopping centre--one of the very few in downtown Toronto, incidentally--and caters to an older demographic than the cooler malls elsewhere. This shot of the mall's central gallery shows the general aesthetic: bright and clean in a now retro 1970s sense, with plenty of space.

Zellers is a downmarket Canadian retail chain slated to merge as part of a desperate last effort. Here, two shoppers are caught looking at the entrance to this, an anchor store.

The small kiosks at the centre of the aisle are well-kept, if small.
