rfmcdonaldDo not go to MacAulay's Bakery and Deli on Kent Street. I did for lunch today, and I regret it. The pizza was tasteless, the namaimo square useless, and the lasagna was just gross. The cherry Coke was the only good thing.
That said, when I went to buy my coffee at Timothy's, John Southworth's album mars pennsylvania was offered free of charge to customers, albeit on tape. I interviewed John Southworth for the student newspaper--God, so long--four years ago, and I had a CD single of his. The tape's good, actually; excellent sound quality, and his idiosyncratic songs are good.
I also bought Sigur Rós' untitled album using an old credit from HMV. Barely five dollars, once the shipping was included.
Plan to clean the room tonight, get some writing done, look at the student loan application which I picked up today, watch the first episode of Carl Sagan's Cosmos. Feeling good, generally.
