- Over the weekend, I watched The Matrix twice, rented on video cassette. It did help explain the background of The Matrix Reloaded, in particular the intensity of the relationship between Neo and Agent Smith. (Is Neo Agent Smith's father?)
- The second time I watched The Matrix, I watched it with Mom. It's nice, in the face of past things, that we can enjoy a comfortable relationship.
- After work on Sunday, I went to take in a script reading for the upcoming performance of The Importance of Being Earnest. After heading down to the waterfront where the meeting was originally scheduled (the IWK telethon was setting up down there, with girls on SUVs donated by corporate sponsors and a band preparing to play as David Bowie's "China Girl" played), I went back up to the Comic Hunter where the script reading crew assembled. Dave wasn't there, and Jeremy had to leave early. I think it went well, though.
- When I went to the gym today, I ran into Dr. MacLaine. He and his wife left this afternoon for Montreal, to witness the graduate of their daughter from McGill University in Montreal, with a major in music (specialization in cello).
