1. The word "god" used in a naturalistic sense (the universe, awe, etc) is appropriate and usefull. I disagree
2. Everything that exists is of the natural world and operates by the laws of nature. I agree
3. I want to lose my identity and become united with the universe as a whole. I disagree
4. To live is to suffer, and to reduce suffering means eliminating wants/desires. I disagree
5. If you do bad things, bad things will happen to you. I disagree
6. Life isn't meant to be fair, but it can be joyful. I agree
7. Nature is something to be revered, perhaps worshipped. I disagree
8. We should take care of the earth, protect the environment. I agree
9. Rules defining right and wrong are/should be based on enlightened self-interest. I disagree
10. Rules defining right and wrong are/should be based on consequences, and meeting human needs. I agree
11. Right conduct is about adhering to certain virtues so that you reduce your suffering and become enlightened. I disagree
12. Free market capitalism is the only economic system society should be based upon. I disagree
13. A harmful practice is morally permissable if it is an ingrained part of that culture. No Opinion
14. If something is wrong in one place or culture, then it is wrong everywhere. I disagree
15. I enjoy or would like to try meditation. I agree
16. Scientific methods (and/or reasoning) are the best way of finding out stuff. I agree
17. There are better ways than scientific methods (and/or reasoning), of gaining knowledge. I disagree
18. Although I don't believe in any traditional gods, something must have started the universe. I disagree
19. There is no afterlife. When we die we cease to exist. No Opinion
20. It is wrong to hit someone for verbal insults, or stated opinions, no matter how crass. I disagree
21. Everyone should have the same internationally recognized human rights. I agree
22. If my philo/relig. lets in theists, that's ok. I agree
23. Technology should be used not only to improve our lives, but improve our species biologically. I agree
