I'd had the weekend free, for the first time in a long while. Saturday, I bought David Pulver's <a href="Centauri Knights RPG supplement. It's a fascinating universe; his depiction of the ruins of Osiran civilization--founded by a vaguely reptilian-type species native to Alpha Centauri A IV--is entertaining, as is his description of the human colonial society transplated to Osiris' eerie plains and derelict space habitats. Sunday was the dress rehearsal for The Importance of Being Earnest, and that also went well, at least from my perspective as a non-theatrical person.

Not that much happened Monday. In the morning, I had day surgery, to remove excess skin left on my left ear after hormone injections had reduced a keloid scar; in the afternoon, I went to UPEI for the gym, reading Louis Hémon's Écrits sur le Québec and William Gibson's Pattern Recognition; in the evening, I went to ababy shower for one of my weekend co-workers.
