rfmcdonaldOne reason I've been inactive blog-wise for the past few days is that, since late Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning, my home Internet has been broken. (How I long for the ease of Internet access at home, notwithstanding my new appreciation of the reality of free WiFi with McFlurries and french fries at my neighbourhood McDonald's.)
Another, more substantial reason for my absence is that I've been writing theatre reviews for the Toronto theatre website Mooney on Theatre, most of these of shows that are part of the Toronto Fringe Festival, 25 years strong. It's fun, the sort of writing for an interested and interesting third party that I've always wanted to do. (Plus, I run into neat people in the most unexpected places. Hi, lpetrazickis!)
I want to do more of this kind of thing, thing defined specifically and broadly.
