I photoblogged my way through the Toronto Fringe Festival this year, taking photos before different shows at different locations on Instagram. Here they are, in photo-essay format.
Before my first two shows, I based myself at the Lillian H. Smith on College at Spadina. One of my favourite libraries, it was quite well-placed for my purposes.

I passed this graffiti on the east side of 243 College Street as I headed to my first show in Kensington Market.

En route, I noted the site of a former Buddhist temple on College west of Spadina. Son a condo will rise here.

The Kiever Synagogue hosted my first show, A Simple Twist of Faith.

On return I passed by the temple/condo site again as the sun was falling.

This long line-up was at the Tarragon Theatre.

The below is a photo of one of the many banners on lower Bathurst Street advertising the string of theatres along that stretch.

This line was outside of the Theatre Passe Muraille.

Looking east on Wolseley at Ryerson at sunset takes the viewer into the core of west-end Toronto.

My stubs and sole remaining ticket on the night before my last performance.

Honest Ed's hosts a nice nightly partly, lodged in the alley between the shopping complex's major buildings and in the heart of the so-called Mirvish Village.

Lining up outside of the Theatre Passe Muraille at night.

I saw this advertising on the subway at Bathurst.

The play posters lining the Honest Ed's alley are popular sights.

Leeman Kessler as H.P. Lovecraft, posing next to his poster before one of his half-hour performances.

The alley again, looking at the lights.
