Dec. 2nd, 2003 11:38 pmI took a language competency test today, since I need competency in a language other than English relevant to literary studies for my Master's degree. As a good Canadian, of course, French was the language I was tested on. I believe that the test went well--I was more concerned with getting the style (of Robbe-Grillet, from his 1956 essay on the nouveau roman) across in English than with translating the words, so hopefully that's a good sign.
The various projects go well. I think. I'll try to polish some short essays for my literary theory course tomorrow.
My social life, of course, is on complete hiatus. PEI will be fun, I strongly suspect.
