The day I visited Allan Gardens with my parents was a day when gardeners were swapping out old plants for new, just in time for the Christmas season. (One of their wheelbarrows is visible in photo #3, while my mother is in photo #5.)

I always like visiting the Allan Gardens in winter. At a time when all is cold and dead, inside is warmth and humidity and green growth.
