Proof of Divine Emnity?

I tried to plug my laptop in the common room, so I could work while I watched Buffy. I plug the power-plug end in; that goes easily. I begin to plug the computer end in, and crack the power-plug end splits into three.

Fortunately, my roommate across the hall had a replacement which works. The power converter seems to be of a fairly generic type, so I should be able to find a replacement in the next couple of months. But this is not my day today!
