In the mid-seventeenth century, the east-bank site of Teiaiagon several kilometres upstream of Lake Ontario from the Humber River was occupied by Iroquois at the apex of their influence on the northern shore of Lake Ontario. Abandoned in 1689, this site eventually became included in what is now the pleasant and wealthy neighbourhood of Baby Point.

Some local history pages record the presence. The only physical vestige I could find on a warm spring day was the massive burial mound in Magwood Park opposite the Varsity Road entrance.
