[NON-BLOG] The Easter Weekend
Apr. 11th, 2004 11:56 pmI rather enjoyed myself at the A's in Bowmanville. I was picked up Friday at 2 pm by my father's cousin, and we chatted in the course of the two-hour drive west on the 401. Getting there, I began to meet relatives from the Ontario branch of the McDonald family at a Good Friday dinner of fish and chips hosted by my 95-year-old great-aunt G., leading up to a nice night out in Whtiby. Saturday began slow, but ended up becoming a nice dinner with my "uncle" and his family (including two of three adult children) before again going to Whitby. The Lava Lounge was nice; I got to his children's place at 4:30, getting back over to my uncle's place to change and shower in time for mass Easter Sunday. Then, again, a family dinner including great-aunt G.
It was a nice way to spend my weekend. I'm happy I was invited.
