rfmcdonaldAs I start off tonight on this year's Nuit Blanche exhibition, I thought I would start by sharing three photos I took just now in the Alley of Honest Ed's, famed nucleus of the Toronto Fringe festival.
This space will be disappearing next year as condos and rental units take the place of the great department store. What the Fringe will do, I do not know. Tonight, there are three sheds that have been erected in the Alley by Bloor Street. Two of them are housing theatrical productions, including one Morro and Jasp show. They had long line-ups. The central shed has some of the store's vintage signs on display, and a whiteboard in front with the same sort of puns that Honest Ed's is known for.
Now, off towards Queen Street and City Hall I go. I will be posting as I go to my Instagram account, if you are interested in following along.
