This is superb. From the CBC:
The Mexican flag hung from the roof of the soon-to-be complete Trump Tower in downtown Vancouver, put there by construction worker Diego Reyna, a Mexican-Canadian.
He says he pulled off the stunt because he was tired of hearing the building's namesake, Donald Trump, make comments and generalizations about Mexicans during his Republican presidential campaign.
"I put a Mexican flag on the roof of the Trump Tower in Vancouver, just to show that he is benefiting from us and that we are working hard on his projects and that we are not all criminals," said Reyna.
The Port Moody, B.C. resident hung the flag on Saturday and posted a picture of himself with it on social media.
The image has since gone viral.
I do have to say that one reason I find Donald Trump's xenophobia so laughable lies in the origins of his fortune(s). Trump has made his name in construction and in hospitality services, two sectors of the economy which have a notorious dependence on migrant labour, even undocumented migrant labour. What possible right does he have to be so hostile towards the classes of people who are literally responsible for providing him with his fortune?
