The radio station playing at a Parkdale Dollarama yesterday made mention of Toronto Celebrates Prince!, an impromptu one-hour dance party at Nathan Philips Square organized by city councillor Paula Fletcher. I did end up dipping over for a quick visit, and was happy to find that at least some people came out despite the chill. I was just unhappy that my camera could not capture the intense purple of the Toronto sign.
