rfmcdonaldFacebook's Vintage Toronto community shared this vintage map of Toronto.

From the full-size one, I extracted this map depicting my Dovercourt Village, and Seaton Village to its east. (Christie Pits, lying in between, seems to have been substantially undeveloped.) Way back when, these communities were on the northern fringe of the city. It's difficult to imagine.
