[NON BLOG] The Weekend
Sep. 12th, 2004 06:43 pmI missed the Carole Pope concert, unfortunately, since I didn't have enough money in my account to support this endeavour. I'll have to get her the next time she's in Toronto.
In the meantime, I've kept busy. Saturday, I met up with
schillerium for the first time in over a year for an afternoon: coffee at Timothy's; shopping at a nearby yard sale where I picked up a McGarrigle sisters' CD cheap and got an excellent brown suede jacket for 15 dollars; heading east to the Cabbagetown Festival, aptly described by Craig as both interesting and banal; a light supper at the Winchester. 'Twas fun.
Today was the day of the Counterfactual Threat Assessment Group's meeting, with myself,

schismatic, and James B. in attendance. pauldrye's interesting new D20 setting, and the extreme difficulties behind Korean reunification and North Korean recovery (discussed here by me). The next meeting is provisionally scheduled for this coming Sunday at 2:30.
