The "Toronto" sign built this July out of stray driftwood by Toronto artists Thelia Sanders-Shelton and Julie Ryan out of driftwood on a breakwater in Humber Bay Shores Park got a significant amount of press coverage. It even went viral. I was sadened to learn that storms and the hostile weather of fall generally has torn the sign down to almost nothing. At least we have our photos and memories--I certainly have mine.
