I'm finishing a proposal for HIST 261, on Foucault's application to the contorl of cholera in mid-19th century Britain, as it representing (on the one hand) a continuation of the functionings of the regulatory state, but on the other hand showing the shortcomings and lacunae of said state. 'Tis fun.
