rfmcdonaldThis is my nice new Sympatico E-mail address, with two gigabytes of storage space and an ability to handle attachments up to 20 megabytes in size. This is a very nice amount of storage space.
Unfortunately, I can't access it using Eudora. I've got a late-1990s version of Eudora Light installed on my computer that I've successfully used since 1997 for two different ISPs. (Version 1.5.4, to be precise.) I've had the same problems with a different version. My post to the Eudora forums isn't as productive as I'd like. And so, here I am.
I know that my user name and password are correct; I know that I have the right addresses for my POP and SMTP accounts. Even so, my connection keeps timing out (error 10060).
Yes, I can connect using Outlook Express. I do not want to use Outlook Express, since I'm quite happy with Eudora and I don't want attachments to be automatically opened.
Well, that's my tech issue.
